👦 For years, H gave her all to her two sons.
Every moment, every decision revolved around them.
Her husband was traveling most of the time so when her kids left for college, everything she had built her life on disappeared.
🏠The house fell silent .
She was left with herself—someone she didn’t even know.
Loneliness crept in. Anxiety took over. Nights were spent worrying, replaying the past, fearing the future.
She felt empty, unneeded, purposeless, and invisible.
NO. being a devoted mom is NOT the problem.
The problem is when it becomes your entire identity—when your worth depends on how much you give, how much you’re needed, how much you sacrifice.
She reached out and joined my program to find meaning again.
Leading her to discover that her worth was tied to being needed.
This came from her fear of becoming like her mother who was disconnected and unavailable, pushing her to the opposite extreme:
-
always available,
-
always giving,
-
always sacrificing.
Here's what shifted throughout her journey:
🧠 Her thoughts
From:
– “If I’m not needed, who am I?”
– Anxiety about the future, fear of being forgotten.
– Constant self-criticism, guilt for wanting more for herself.
To:
– “My worth isn’t tied to anyone else.”
– Peace with the past, clarity in the present, excitement for the future.
– A mind that feels safe, calm, and optimistic.
❤️ Her feelings
From:
– Fear, sadness, and anger buried so deep they controlled her.
– Anxiety that spiraled every time life felt uncertain.
– Avoiding emotions or drowning in them.
To:
– Feeling emotions without fear or shame.
– Regulating anxiety instead of being consumed by it.
– Moving through hard moments with calm and strength.
⚡️Her actions
Before:
– Over-giving until she was drained.
– Ignoring her needs to keep everyone else happy.
– Forcing outcomes and controlling situations.
After:
– Setting boundaries without guilt
– Taking small, intentional actions that nurtured her wellbeing.
– Sleeping through the night and starting mornings with ease.
– Started a new hobby.
🧬Her identity
Before:
– “I’m only valuable when I’m needed.”
– Living to avoid being like her mom instead of living to be herself.
– Needy for validation, afraid to stand alone.
After:
– “I matter just as I am.”
– Redefining what it means to be a mother, a wife, a woman—without losing herself.
– Loving herself enough to stop betraying herself.
💬Her relationships
Before:
– Dependent, overextended, and unbalanced.
– Disconnected from her husband, resentment toward her mom.
– Kids were too reliant on her.
After:
– Deepened connection with her husband.
– Forgiveness and peace with her mother.
– Kids thriving independently because she let them.
– Rekindled friendships, surrounded by people who uplift her.
🌀Her energy
Before:
– Frantic, anxious, stuck in survival.
– Living in fear of what’s next.
After:
– Flowing, trusting, grounded.
– Feeling safe even in uncertainty.
– Moving through life with calm strength instead of force.
She realized, “If I want to be there for everyone else, I need to learn how to be there for myself first.”
She found herself again and with that found her purpose—helping other moms who felt just like she once did:
-
lost, 🧭
-
exhausted, 😩
-
disconnected from themselves 🔌
Why should this matter to you?
Because maybe you’re doing the same.
Maybe you’ve built your life around everyone else’s needs and lost sight of your own.
Maybe you’re waiting for circumstances to change, not realizing you are the one shaping them.
🌸And this is the work we do in The Zen Manual (my new and deeply advanced program).
This 12-week journey helps you rebuild from the inside out through six foundations—Mind, Emotions, Actions, Identity, Relationships, and Energy.
So that…
– You stop just managing stresses to create a life that feels peaceful and purposeful.
– You learn to heal the relationship you have with yourself, because that’s the one that shapes everything else.
– You stop chasing happiness outside of you and build it within you.
– You create a life where you’re not just surviving, but actually living.
Because your life shifts the moment you start showing up for yourself first—then showing up for others from the right place.
When you take the time to look within and understand why you are the way you are and why you do the things you do, you gain the power to change what no longer serves you.
Because only when you recognize your role in shaping your life—do you realize you have the choice to create a life you love instead of one you want to escape from.
✨ But if you’re still hesitant about committing to a full program, here’s your chance to experience the magic of this work first.
For the whole month of August, I’m offering a FREE 1:1 Coaching Session—one conversation to bring you clarity, lightness, and the first step toward becoming the person you’ve been craving to be.
