That In-Between Girl: Healing, Spiraling, and Learning to Think Better

Ever feel like you’re living two lives at once?

One moment, you’re THAT girl — the version of you who’s in her healing era. You’ve got your favorite journal cracked open, a lavender candle burning, and a Spotify playlist softly playing while you write out affirmations like, “I am safe,” “I am becoming,” and “I trust the timing of my life.”

You’re setting boundaries, cutting off that one person who always drains you (even if it took you six tries), and maybe even going to therapy... or at least watching those TikToks that feel like therapy. You’ve got your emotional support water bottle, your screen-time limits, and your Pinterest board titled Soft Life Season.

You’re doing the work. You’re trying. You want BETTER.

But then… there’s the other part of you.

The one who still spirals at 1:13 a.m., replaying that awkward conversation from two weeks ago — for the 47th time. The one who accidentally ends up stalking someone’s Instagram until you feel like your own life is three years behind. The one who wonders if healing is actually working, or if you’re just really good at pretending to be okay.

Sound familiar?

Yeah… SAME.

The Battle Between Who You Were and Who You’re Becoming

It’s like there’s a constant tug-of-war inside you. One rope pulling you toward the woman you know you can be — calm, confident, grounded, aligned. And the other rope? It’s tied to the version of you who’s spent years surviving, overthinking, people-pleasing, and holding it all in because that’s what you had to do.

Being in that in-between space can be disorienting. You wake up motivated, but by midday you're doubting every decision. You post something inspiring, but later delete it because it suddenly feels cringe. You say you trust the universe, but still spiral when things don’t go your way.

It’s confusing. It’s exhausting. And yet — it’s also incredibly NORMAL.

No One Talks About This Part of Healing

Here’s the truth that not enough people say out loud: healing isn’t linear.
It’s not cute and color-coded. It’s not always soft and serene.

Sometimes healing looks like progress, and sometimes it looks like crying in your car because your boss told you off. Sometimes it’s rereading The Power of Now and feeling enlightened, and sometimes it’s doom-scrolling on TikTok while eating Cheetos in bed at midnight.

And through all of it — the journaling, the spiraling, the breakthroughs, the backslides — there’s one quiet truth that keeps coming up:

The way you think about yourself changes everything.

It affects how you speak up (or stay silent).
How you choose relationships (or settle for ones that feel familiar but draining).
How you chase your goals (or sabotage them before you even start).

How you see yourself — not just on good days, but on the messy, disappointing ones too.

You Don’t Need to Be Fixed. You Just Need a New Way of Thinking.

Here’s something I wish someone told me sooner: You don’t need to “get it all together” to start living a better life. You just need to think differently about the life you’re already in.

I created my THINK BETTER program for the girl who's in that messy middle — the one who’s sick of second-guessing herself, who’s tired of mentally picking herself apart, but who hasn’t figured out how to stop.

This isn’t about pretending the mess doesn’t exist.  It’s about learning how to meet it with a different mindset.

To stop believing every anxious thought is a prophecy. To stop letting old stories decide your future. To build the kind of inner voice that says, “Even if today was messy, I still have my own back.”

For the Girl Whose Mind Is Her Loudest Battlefield

If you’ve ever thought:

“Why do I always overthink everything?”
“Why can’t I just trust myself?”
“Why do I keep repeating the same cycles even though I know better?”

You’re not broken. You’re not behind. You’re just in the middle — and that’s where real change begins.

THINK BETTER is here to help you get out of your head and into your life. It’s here to help you shift the thoughts that are keeping you stuck, so you can finally move with clarity, confidence, and peace.

Because the truth is — the version of you who’s been holding it together all this time?

She deserves to finally feel held. And understood. And empowered to move forward.

So if your mind feels like a battleground, and you’re ready to stop fighting yourself…
It’s time to Think Better.
