Apparently everyone is into it, and I am the only odd one out… 👉
Everyone’s totally obsessed with it right now….
Every hangout somehow ends with — “Ayo la! Let’s play padel!”
Like if you’re not playing… what are you even doing with your life, right?
So when people started asking,
“Why don’t you padel?”
I'll admit, the FOMO was REAL.
I joined once, tried it, even had fun — but for some reason… it just didn’t stick.🎾
And I kept thinking…
- “Is it me? Am I resisting the trend?”
- “Am I fighting the FOMO while still feeling it?”
- “Or do I genuinely not like what everyone else seems to love?”
Or is something deeper going on?
I always replied, “I’m not a sporty person.”
But that wasn’t always true.
Back in school, I was totally into sports — badminton, baseball, soccer… ⚽🏸
So why did that change? 👇
Well… until one day, my knee popped out. 🦵
And another time, I fell into a gutter and I was bedridden for a week.
Since then, every time I’ve been on a court, there’s this quiet voice in my head —
- “Don’t run too fast.”
- “Don’t fall again.”
- “Don’t get hurt.”
A part of me still doesn’t feel safe (and kudos to women who get back in the game after an injury right — but that’s not me. And I’m okay with that.💛)
Because this isn’t really about Padel.
It’s about how MUCH of our life is quietly led by old fears, stories, and beliefs we don’t even know we’re still carrying.
I say, “I’m not a sporty person.” but that identity came from fear, not truth.
And what we call “our truth” is sometimes just a trauma we’ve normalized that's limiting us.
Could I be missing out on fun? Maybe.
But right now, I’m AWARE of my fear. I KNOW I’m choosing it.
And that's powerful too. ⚡
Because imagine all the times you’re NOT AWARE when fear decides, like:
• Not applying for the job because “I’m not ready”
• Not saying what you actually feel because “what will they think?”
• Staying in relationships that drain you because “what if I can’t do it alone?”
• Shrinking so you don’t upset anyone, then resenting yourself later
When fear decides for you, you wake up months later wondering where your choices went —
and that’s the real cost: time, opportunities, confidence, joy. ⏳
👉 You can either listen to fear unconsciously and let it run your life…
or understand it consciously and choose for yourself.
Think about how your life would change if you stopped letting fear decide —
you’d:
• Say yes to things you actually want
• Speak up calmly instead of snapping or bottling up
• Stop replaying other people’s judgments as your truth
• Stop postponing joy for a “one-day” that never comes
That’s what I help you do in THINK BETTER — not to avoid fear, but to get to know it.
To question what’s driving your choices.
To notice the beliefs that quietly shape your life.
Because when you finally know WHY you do what you do,
you get to choose differently. 💭
